Abstract:
This paper highlights some of the major evolutionary changes which occurred in the financial systems of the SEACEN countries during the period 1976-1983, and the underlying forces that have led to these changes. It also discusses the important recent developments and innovations in the financial system, as well as the reforms that have resulted in changes to some financial arrangements and operations.
