Abstract:
The most encouraging development in 1984 for developing countries in general and for the SEACEN region in particular is the improvement in the trade balance and the reduction in the current account deficit. This paper examines the various aspects relating to export performance of the SEACEN countries. It also discusses the policy measures that have been implemented over the years to improve export performance.
