Abstract:
The efforts to counteract the impact of recession that hits practically all countries of the world continue to be a formidable task. For the SEACEN countries, in particular, surmounting recessionary pressures has remained a great challenge. This paper discusses the policy measures adopted by the authorities in the SEACEN countries which aim towards containing recessionary pressures and creating an environment conducive to permanent economic growth.
