Abstract:
This study looks into the effect of exchange rate changes during 1971-1984 on the terms of trade of Sri Lanka. It examines the effects of changes in the exchange rate of major exporters and importers of Sri Lanka's main primary commodities (tea, rubber and coconuts) on the world price of the commodities.
