Abstract:
Abstract This article aims at examining the activities of the Friedrich-Naumann Foundation for Freedom in the field of electoral conflict prevention in Côte d’Ivoire since 2011, the Foundation is trying to establish its role as an important institution of German foreign policy. The examination highlights the assessment of the Foundation’s involvement in the pacification of the electoral process in Côte d’Ivoire. This involvement is characterized, on the one hand, by training of the different actors of the electoral process and, on the other hand, by nurturing a civil society.
