Abstract: Abstract The challenge of digital preservation has arisen as a result of the substantial shift in knowledge from print to electronic media in the modern information society. A summary of libraries with talent is given. The impact of digital technology on libraries and the ways in which libraries are evolving digitally have been examined. An overview of digital resources and the reasons behind the loss of digital information has been provided. “Digital preservation” or “digital archiving” basically refers to steps done to ensure that electronic documents are durable. Digital preservation is a constantly changing field. The growing volume of data that must be stored digitally raises more significant and complex difficulties. Because digital materials don’t last as long, quick and effective preservation techniques are more crucial. This paper discusses a number of technological, administrative, legal, and logistical issues. It also offers the author’s thoughts on current issues, concerns, challenges, and significant barriers in digital preservation. In light of technical advancements, new methods for digital preservation are explained. In conclusion, collaboration, adherence to moral and legal requirements, and the application of best practices are all necessary for digital preservation in digital libraries. Today’s libraries can become talented ones by implementing digital preservation techniques, technology, and other interconnected and developing digital preservation procedures.
