Abstract:
Abstract Leadership is a complex and multifaceted phenomenon. The are ever-changing. This paper explores the critical competencies required to be an impactful leader in the digital era. This period is marked by rapid technical developments in the fields of machine learning, AI, and the internet of things. The COVID-19 pandemic and digitalization have disrupted workplace dynamics and traditional business models, needing novel leadership approaches. Leaders today foster Hybrid and virtual teams and face challenges of communication, collaboration, and employee engagement. The paper examines the critical need for ambidextrous leadership, leadership agility with focus on Health and well-being to leverage the transformative potential of digitalization.
