A chapter in Proceedings of the 2026 11th International Conference on Social Sciences and Economic Development (ICSSED 2026), 2026, pp 1059-1067 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract With environmental problems becoming increasingly prominent, the concept of sustainability has become a key issue in contemporary development and has exerted a profound influence on early childhood education. This study explores the relationship among teachers’ sustainability awareness, their skills in applying natural materials, and the actual use of these materials in teaching under this context. It also analyzes factors that influence teaching effectiveness and discusses strategies for integrating natural material art activities supported by the concept of sustainability. The aim is to provide reference suggestions for subsequent research in preschool education.
