Abstract: Abstract In response to the current research gaps in cross-modal semantic communication within the tourism industry, this study proposes the architecture, core concepts, key technologies, practical applications, and challenges of a cross-modal semantic communication system driven by artificial intelligence. The aim of this research is to further advance the theoretical and applied studies in this new direction within the tourism industry. It is anticipated that this work will have a positive impact on the fields of multimedia communication and information processing, particularly in the application scenarios of the tourism industry.
