Abstract: Abstract This essay reflected and compared the business performance of two dairy companies in China within the past few years. According to the increasing focus of the public on the intake of nutrients, the dairy industry has been greatly affected. Due to the business property of Yili and Mengniu, there is a potential competition existing in-between them. The financial statements from both companies were the major source being used to build the fundamental part of this analysis. Based on the previous data, this analysis has also included the profitability analysis of both Yili and Mengniu. This analysis aimed to provide an overview and multiple perspective to compare the past operation and future potential of Yili and Mengniu.
