Abstract:
Abstract The research aims to create an Order Management System (OMS) using CIPSODAR Model for Beijing Xinhua Bookstore and evaluate the system with CARTA Model. CIPSODAR analyses the IS process and how the OMS supports the organizational process including information processing and decision making. CARTA evaluates the success or failure of OMS from five perspective: completeness, accuracy, relevance, timeliness and appropriateness of presentation. The OMS enhances the working efficiency and reduces the human error for Beijing Xinhua Bookstore since it provides the details of orders clearly which enable auditors to audit quickly and accurately.
