Abstract:
Abstract Industrial structure coordination is one of the important contents for achieving regional coordinated development. Over the past decade, significant achievements have been made in the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. However, there are still challenges such as uneven development between regions and low levels of industrial synergy. From the perspective of industrial correlation, this article studies the degree of connection between the pillar industries of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and other related industries in the region, quantitatively calculates the supply driven and demand driven effects of pillar industries in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. This article believes that the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region should pay more attention to the coordinated development of industries within the region, enhance the influence of Beijing’s science and technology innovation industry, and increase the spillover effects of innovation industries on the other two areas. We should reduce the industrial gradient gap in the Tianjin and Hebei region and enhance the ability and attractiveness of the two regions to undertake non capital functions. In addition, from the analysis of the influence and driving force of industries, the role of the secondary industry is very significant. Therefore, in the process of regional industrial structure adjustment, we should be alert to the risk of regional industrial hollowing out caused by “excessive deindustrialization”.
