Abstract:
Abstract To that extent, the study postulates that minor and practical changes are crucial in determining hospitality sustainability for practical operational dimensions such as optimizing lighting systems and waste segregation efficiency improvement. It is an important context to be addressed since hospitality businesses are under pressure to be more environmentally friendly than before. Minor changes, like energy-saving lights and water-conserving appliances, will cut energy and water use up to 20% and waste up to 15%, according to previous studies. Cost savings and higher guest satisfaction are also characteristics of these changes. Mixed-method approach is used for studying the changes, which includes a literature review, case studies, and data collection from surveys and interviews of hotel managers. Measurement of effectiveness of such change will come through energy and water consumption, waste production, guest satisfaction, and cost-benefit analysis.
