Abstract:
Abstract This study investigated the views and perceptions of people from all walks of life towards the existing application and its potential challenges of AI technology into IPR protection, especially in the era of new economy. The aim of this study is to explore public acceptance of AI technology being applied to IPR protection so as to provide insights for future improvement. The study used a mere quantitative research method by an adopted and modified questionnaire. The respondents of the study include 562 participants. Data collected were processed and analyzed by SPSS data processing software and Microsoft Excel software. The findings indicated that the majority of the participants held positive views towards the application of AI technology into IPR protection, however, this application also resulted in various challenges that required for emergent solutions.
