A chapter in Proceedings of the 2025 10th International Conference on Financial Innovation and Economic Development (ICFIED 2025), 2025, pp 152-162 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We discusses the influence of financial technology on the innovation of biomedical enterprises, and analyzes its mechanism. It is found that financial technology has significantly promoted the innovation activities of biomedical enterprises by reducing information asymmetry and financing constraints. Financial technology provides enterprises with convenient financing channels, abundant information resources and effective risk management tools, thus improving their R&D efficiency and innovation ability. This paper also puts forward some policy suggestions, including that the government should provide policy support, optimize the financing environment and strengthen intellectual property protection; Enterprises should actively embrace financial technology and use it to optimize R&D processes and reduce innovation risks; Financial technology service providers should design customized products and services to support the innovative activities of biomedical enterprises. Future research can further explore the long-term impact of financial technology on the innovation of biomedical enterprises, the differences between different countries or regions and the application of financial technology in specific market segments.
