Abstract: Abstract This article studies the carbon emission management methods in civil construction under the background of the “dual carbon” target. This article focuses on the current situation, problems, and management strategies of carbon emissions in civil construction. This article adopts the research methods of literature review and case analysis. Research has found that carbon emission management in civil construction is of great significance for achieving China’s “dual carbon” goals. By using tools such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and real-time carbon emission monitoring platforms, quantitative analysis and evaluation of carbon emissions during civil construction can be conducted, providing the scientific basis for policy formulation and industry practice. After analysis, this article concludes that a scientifically reasonable carbon emission management strategy can significantly reduce the carbon footprint during the construction phase and provide a feasible path for the industry’s low-carbon transformation. In the future, carbon emission management should be more refined and intelligent. By strengthening the carbon factor pool, establishing a unified accounting standard and introducing advanced technology, the effectiveness and transparency of carbon emission management can be improved, thereby promoting the sustainable development of the construction industry.
