Abstract: Abstract This study explores the implementation of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices in the Student Affairs department of Hasanuddin University, focusing on the implementation of environmental sustainability, the resulting impacts, and the challenges faced. Environmental sustainability practices such as saving electricity, water, and energy, planting greenery in the office environment, as well as separating types of waste and reducing the use of paper in correspondence have shown a positive impact on environmental awareness among employees and improving operational efficiency. However, the integration of sustainability practices with human resources management practices in the organization faces significant challenges, such as the lack of focus on sustainability aspects in the recruitment process, suboptimal management support, and the lack of performance evaluation criteria that assess employee contributions to green initiatives, still hampering the effectiveness of GHRM practices. This study recommends the need for stronger commitment from management and the development of more integrated policies to achieve long-term sustainability goals at Hasanuddin University.
