Abstract:
Abstract With the development of digital economy, digital transformation has emerged a new engine for Chinese enterprises to enhance their export competitiveness and improve their export advantages. This research searches and uses data from Chinese manufacturing A-share listed firms from 2009 to 2021 and employs a fixed-effect model for empirical testing. The findings suggest that digital transformation can greatly boost the export of manufacturing enterprises, and the conclusion remains after endogeneity treatment and robust-type test. The study presented in this paper extends and expands on previous research on enterprise exports and provides a realistic path to improve the export competitiveness of enterprises.
