Abstract: Abstract This study aims to analyze adaptive capacity in the coaching of Community-Based Integrated Child Protection (PATBM) cadres in Temmappaduae Village, Maros Regency. The concept of adaptive capacity uses the framework of Freduah et al. (2019) which consists of natural, cultural, human, social, political, and financial capital. The method used was qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observation with purposive and snowball sampling techniques. The results showed that natural capital, such as open land, supports socialization activities, despite infrastructure challenges. Cultural capital such as gotong-royong strengthens collaboration networks, but patriarchal norms limit women’s full participation. Cadres with high human capital capacity, through training, were able to overcome limitations in formal education and digital skills. Strong social capital was shown to increase community participation, while political capital provided access to local policy support. Constraints in financial capital encouraged cadres to innovate in finding alternative funding. This study concludes that the adaptive capacity of PATBM cadres plays an important role in the effectiveness of child protection programs at the community level.
