Abstract: Abstract This study aims to determine how cross-sector coordination is in handling illegal parking in Makassar City. The type of research used is qualitative, namely a form of research that aims to provide an overview of data collected from the field objectively with a descriptive type. The results of the study can be seen from: The communication aspect between the three agencies has obstacles, namely each of the three agencies is waiting for news to carry out joint operations in the field so that the implementation of illegal parking control has not been completed properly. From the aspect of cooperation, each agency carries out its duties. However, action in controlling illegal parking has not been carried out consistently, resulting in rampant illegal parking in Makassar City. From the aspect of the division of authority, the three agencies are in accordance with Regional Regulation 17 of 2006 where the authority of the Transportation Agency is to control parking and take action against parking violators. The authority of Perumda Parkir Makassar Raya is parking fees and coaching for parking attendants. The authority of Satpol PP only helps if there is a joint operation to control illegal parking.
