Abstract: Abstract This study aims to examine the effect of asset structure and profitability on debt policy in manufacturing companies. The method used is descriptive quantitative with the Ordinary Least Squared (OLS) technique. Data collection techniques are carried out through several methods, including documentation and literature studies. The population in this study is a manufacturing company consisting of 5 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique uses total sampling, and the data used is panel data (a combination of time series and cross-section data). This study uses a secondary database of each company’s annual reports for the period 2020 to 2022. The results showed that asset structure had no effect on debt policy, and profitability had no effect on debt policy on the debt policy of Manufacturing Companies.
