Abstract:
Abstract Corporate R&D laboratories are under increasing pressure to comply with ESG standards, yet often lack structured tools for assessing sustainability performance. This study develops a multidimensional KPI framework addressing resource efficiency, environmental impact, compliance, and organizational engagement. Twelve indicators were identified through literature review and expert consultation. A hybrid weighting approach, integrating Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and entropy methods, was employed to ensure balanced evaluation. Applied in a corporate laboratory, the framework demonstrated operational feasibility, strategic relevance, and diagnostic value. While technical metrics performed well, cultural indicators lagged, highlighting the need for behavioural incentives. Stakeholder feedback supported the dashboard’s utility for management and communication purposes.
