Abstract: Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of internships on accounting students’ work readiness. Specifically, this study looked at how three different modes of internships during pandemic: Work From Home (WFH), Work from Office (WFO) and a combination of WFH and WFO, impacted students’ work-readiness. Data were collected from a sample of 128 accounting students from three state universities in Malang. The result shows that students with a WFH internship mode felt the least prepared for work when compared to WFO and a combination of WFH and WFO. Students with WFO internship mode had the highest level of work readiness. This research has contributed to providing information regarding three modes of internships during pandemic and post-internships student work readiness.
