Abstract:
Abstract This study aims to identify and analyze references related to innovation and financial performance sourced from web science direct and emerald. By conducting a systematic literature review study, 77 articles indexed by Scopus Q1 with quantitative research type have been analyzed and this provides an overview of references that will increase knowledge related to the research object, the country where the research was conducted and the research methods that have been used by previous researchers. From this literature review we conclude that the country that is often studied in relation to innovation and financial performance is China. Indonesia is one of the few that are used as research objects. And we simply recommend that this research be carried out in Indonesia, especially for the development of SMEs that exist and are quite widely developing in our country.
