Abstract:
Abstract The study of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has gained a lot of scholarly attention and has rapidly advanced on the corporate agenda in recent years. Nonetheless, the literature frequently focuses on large organizations and industrialized nations. The purpose of this study is to define the precise impact that corporate social responsibility (CSR) has on small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Asian nations that fall under the category of developing nations. The Elsevier Scopus database provided the articles used in the study. We analyzed 43 research papers using a bibliometric methodology that included content analysis and VOS reader software. This study reveals an increasing conceptual and terminological divergence in the way that CSR is being incorporated into the business strategy of SMEs. SMEs in the Asian Countries context has a unique characteristic in implementing CSR strategies into their business. Furthermore, this research contributes to future research on how SMEs can integrate CSR concepts into their business strategies.
