Strengthening Processes and Results of the IDDoL Learning Model in the Attempt of the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract: Abstract This research aimed to obtaining an innovative learning model (IDDoL) for the COVID-19 pandemic situation, and also at the same time testing its effectiveness in various subject contexts, and the conditions. In general, the problem statements of this research are how effective the IDDoL learning model is for the Macroeconomics course. Specifically, the effectiveness of the process and learning outcomes will be seen. The research method was designed through a mixed research design between experimental quantitative methods and descriptive-explanatory research design. The experimental method is used to test the effectiveness of learning outcomes through the IDDoL learning model. While the descriptive explanatory method is used to describe the positive (strength) and negative (lack) aspects of the phenomenon of the IDDoL learning process that are felt by students and their lecturers. The population in this study were all students majoring in Development Economics. While the samples of this study were students who were taking Macroeconomics courses. Based on the results of the gain score of the study, it can be concluded that the value of students participating in Iddol learning has increased by 7,55 points, it can be seen from the pre-test score which obtained an average value of 75.8, while the post-test score obtained an average score of 75.8. an average of 83.4. So it can be concluded that the use of Iddol in the learning process is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Student responses based on the survey results stated that 71% of students agreed that the IDDOL learning method was able to overcome difficulties for face-to-face or conventional learning as well as for online or online learning.
