Abstract:
Abstract This study aims to analyze the determinants of students in selecting a learning video editing application. This type of research is quantitative research using proportional random sampling. The population in this study was all 2018 students of the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang with a total of 121 students. The data was obtained using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which was distributed to 93 students majoring in economics education class. The data obtained was analyzed by factor analysis. The results showed that there were 7 determining factors for students in choosing learning video editing applications including: (1) Physical Condition; (2) Effectiveness; (3) Stability; (4) Knowledge; (5) Hardware; (6) Price; and (7) Efficiency. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that students can improve the quality of videos made by considering various factors before selecting the application. Besides, the students are advised to choose the application wisely and carefully.
