Abstract: Abstract This essay analyses representative SDG 13 and SDG 15 from political, economic and cultural perspectives using Australia, China, the United Kingdom (UK), Tuvalu, Japan and Brazil to identify structural challenges posed by different national political systems, economic frameworks and cultural values. Despite criticisms that many international initiatives lack rigorous implementation mechanisms, this paper argues that substantial progress can still be made through enhanced multilateral cooperation, improved financing mechanisms, equitable distribution of responsibilities, and optimized market incentives to promote global sustainable development.
