Abstract:
Abstract Under the background of the “dual carbon” strategy, enhancing the Green Total Factor Productivity (GTFP) of the manufacturing industry has become a core issue for achieving high-quality development in China. Based on the panel data of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in China from 2009 to 2020, this paper systematically calculates the GTFP at the enterprise level by using the super-efficiency SBM model combined with unexpected output. Meanwhile, a multi-dimensional fintech development index including the search popularity of fintech, the number of patents and the distribution of enterprises is constructed, and an empirical regression analysis is conducted using the systematic GMM method.
