Abstract: Abstract The purpose of this study is to investigate how supervisor behavior affects employee work satisfaction and performance, as well as how supervisor behavior affects employee performance through the mediation of employee job satisfaction. Permanent staff members of Bali's five-star hotels made up the study's population. Purposive sampling was used to determine the number of study samples, which included 70 respondents. Questionnaires were used to gather data, and structural equation modelling partial least squares (PLS-SEM) was used for analysis. The variables measured included supervisor behavior (inspiration, motivation, development, and harmonious relationships), employee job satisfaction (work, salary, promotion, supervision, and colleagues), and employee performance (quality, quantity, punctuality, effectiveness, and independence). The study's findings demonstrate that supervisor behavior has an immediate and favourable impact on workers’ performance and job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction among employees has a favourable and significant impact on their performance, which is mediated by job satisfaction. The significant contribution of this study underscores that effective leadership development should be a top priority for hotel management. Implementing this as a key strategy will lead to increased productivity, a positive work environment, and ultimately, enhanced operational efficiency and long-term company growth.
