A chapter in Proceedings of the 11th Annual Meeting of Risk Analysis Council of China Association for Disaster Prevention (RAC 2024), 2025, pp 19-25 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Due to the severe earthquake disasters in China, the government places great emphasis on earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, while academia continuously provides technical and theoretical support. Works on famine relief and famine policy in ancient China and seismic risk management since1949 are reviewed briefly. By searching the CNKI database, Chinese documents on seismic risk management were obtained. A shift in research subjects was revealed to track and understand the research progress. Furthermore, by searching CNKI database, Chinese documents on resilience were collected to form a keyword co-occurrence network. The relationship between seismic risk management and seismic resilience was discussed. By summarizing historical experiences and tracking the shift in research subjects, this attempts to offer references for constructing seismic risk management system in the new era.
