Abstract:
Abstract Human resources (HR) are the main engine of national development; their primary task lies in the hands of higher education institutions. This paper reviews the strategic contribution of higher education in shaping excellent human resources, covering aspects of strengthening moral values, developing competencies, innovating learning methods, utilizing technology, and collaborating with the business world and the global community. This article aims to identify the role of higher education in preparing excellent human resources. Higher education is very important if we want to improve the quality of human resources. This commitment can be realized through the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely teaching, research, and community service. This research uses a descriptive analytical approach based on qualitative techniques. The results of this research emphasize the importance of a bachelor’s degree in preparing students for professions that require strong character, technical knowledge, and the ability to adapt to new environments. Modern lecture materials, innovative teaching approaches, and capable lecturers can help realize this. Research conducted in higher education must be beneficial to society. The results of this research can assist higher education and the development of excellent human resources.
