Abstract: Abstract The decline in hospital quality is undoubtedly caused by many internal and external factors. Therefore, this study will examine the effect of personal characteristics on work-life balance, mediated by co-worker support. The type of research used in this study is quantitative and literature review. The population in this study was healthcare workers at the Bhayangkara Level II Hospital in Medan. The sample size was 220 people. The sample was selected based on incidental sampling. The results showed that personal characteristics significantly influence work-life balance at the Bhayangkara Level II Hospital in Medan. Personal characteristics significantly influence co-worker support at the Bhayangkara Level II Hospital in Medan. Work-life balance significantly influences co-worker support at the Bhayangkara Level II Hospital in Medan. Co-worker support significantly moderates the effect of personal characteristics on work-life balance at the Bhayangkara Level II Hospital in Medan.
