Abstract:
Abstract This study investigated the influence of transformative learning experience (TLE) and career adaptability (CA) on work performance (WP) among working university students, with self-regulated learning (SRL) analyzed as both a direct predictor and a moderating variable. Grounded in Transformative Learning Theory, Career Construction Theory, and Social Cognitive Theory, the research applied a quantitative explanatory design using PLS-SEM on a sample of 170 students from Indonesian private universities who held part-time or full-time jobs. Results revealed that TLE ( $$\beta = 0.290$$ β = 0.290 , $$p = 0.003$$ p = 0.003 ), CA ( $$\beta = 0.312$$ β = 0.312 , $$p = 0.004$$ p = 0.004 ), and SRL ( $$\beta = 0.358$$ β = 0.358 , $$p
