Abstract: Abstract The purpose of the chapter is to study the specific features of formation and spending of the state budget in multicultural regions and the influence of budget limitations on state management of socioeconomic development of a multicultural region. It is substantiated that in a modern multicultural region the problem of budget limitations is very urgent. This is caused by the increased complexity of tax administration due to low tax discipline of migrants (and their companies), large share of the shadow economy, and the increased load on the regional budget that is connected to large expenditures for sociocultural measures. The deficit of state budget in multicultural regions does not allow for sufficient expenditures, but, at the same time, does not hinder the full-scale implementation of the necessary sociocultural measures, as multicultural regions have additional (non-budget: absent or weak in monocultural regions) methods of state management of socioeconomic development due to high level of globalization and expanded opportunities of attraction of private capital.
