Abstract: Abstract One of the key advantages of study abroad programs is the students’ exposure to a range of new experiences. Though these experiences often occur within the context of the culture of the country they are visiting, economics students can benefit from programs that result from collaboration with other academic disciplines. The University of Georgia’s International Agribusiness in Diversified Livestock and Grain Production program is a collaboration between the Animal & Dairy Science and Agricultural Economics departments. Over 8 days, students traveled the country learning about business practices, production techniques, return on investment, and trade policy from the perspective of a small, exporting country.
