Chapter Chapter 5 in The Future of Work in the United States, 2021, pp 165-196 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract After initially examining some congressional hearings detailed in the previous chapter, we now turn to a more in-depth analysis of the textual material used in this book. The keyword list (Table 4.4 ) is used as a basis for a detailed frequency analysis of the corpus data. Using a quantitative approach to the corpora, based on both the congressional and media sources, allows for an overview of how the topics and issues of concern appear in the textual data, especially over time, and how intensively they are discussed in the sources other than through a qualitative close reading analysis.
