Abstract:
Abstract The approach to building a portfolio of energy efficiency projects discussed in the previous section is very promising, especially for organizations that are interested in increasing their own competitiveness. At the same time, it is impossible to implement innovative processes in production cycles without realizing the potential of our own human resources. Improving energy efficiency, in the context of rising tariffs and tougher competition, is the most important area of activity of a metallurgical enterprise, which has a significant impact on the amount of operating costs and indicators of rational use of energy resources. Strategy development is a priority task of forming an energy efficiency management system at a metallurgical enterprise, and it should be based on the principles of planning, organizing and controlling energy supply processes. As a priority direction for the development of the energy efficiency management system, it is proposed to use approaches to human resource management, which is a set of competencies in the field of energy-efficient production, with elements of a motivation system. As practice shows, most energy saving projects, both domestic and foreign, are based on the development and implementation of ideas and projects aimed at reducing the specific consumption of energy resources and minimizing their losses. However, an important area of innovative development of the energy efficiency management mechanism is competent personnel management. The main principles of this direction include daily savings by increasing the motivation and responsibility of staff, stimulating the implementation of changes related to energy efficiency and accumulating best practices in this area. Human resources in the field of energy efficiency management are considered to include knowledge about specific design solutions that promote efficiency improvement, production planning and preparation, as well as the implementation and management of energy-efficient technologies.
