Abstract:
Abstract Digital technologies do present cost and/or efficiency advantages. AI technologies impose their own governance norms and so the altering functions of governance players. Moreover, digital power is flexible, as different actors perform different governance roles within different contexts. Algorithmic governance reveals central questions about the role of participation in a democratic society. AI technologies are shaping law enforcement giving rise to algorithmic justice via robo-courts and consequently the emergence of robo-justice.
