Chapter Chapter 1 in Public Policy Evaluation and Analysis, 2024, pp 1-7 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract On a global scale, we are going through several crises (ecology, inequalities, etc.) which have accelerated since Covid-19 and which have profoundly changed the dynamics of the labour market. In this context of high uncertainty, the evaluation of public policies then becomes a major social, economic and political issue that must directly affect our public decision-making model. This book aims to understand how some developed countries have tried to adapt to the new challenges in the labour market by evaluating and analysing some of their public programmes put in place before, during and after Covid-19.
