Abstract:
Abstract This chapter analyzes the development and the crash of the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) market. It questions the status of NFTs in the field of the artworks and sheds light on the peculiarities of speculation for those digital assets. It raises the scope and legitimacy of regulation for the further development of more reliable transactions.
