Abstract:
Abstract Dynamic transformations that take place in the modern economy predetermined the necessity for development of scientifically substantiated strategy of investing of Russian industrial complex. The authors view the main aspects of strategic management of investment activities in this sector of economy. It was determined that it is necessary to restore basic proportions of reproduction of main production funds, which will allow for effective use of investment resources. A general scheme for making investment decisions in industry is offered—realization of its stages is possible only on the basis of application of strategic approach. The most important directions of analytical research at this stage are development of substantiated forecasts of possible changes in external environment and determination of the investment object.
