Chapter Chapter 8 in Digitalization in Open Economies, 2010, pp 149-175 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In Part II of this study, several theoretical approaches of internationalization strategies of network providers, IT service companies, and digital goods producers have been presented. Some clues for economic policy have been summarized in Sect. 7.3. Now, in Part III, a closer look at economic policy as a driver of the international diffusion of networks, IT services, and digital goods is presented.
