Abstract: Abstract This study aims to analyze basic maritime traffic in the area of the economy and its relationship with growth. The content analysis includes an introduction to fundamental concepts of economic theory and its application to maritime business especially with regard to productivity, the costs involved and the difference in the supply of tonnage by type of vessel in response to the cycle time global economic.
