Chapter Chapter 7 in China’s Direct Investment in Indonesia (1990–2022), 2024, pp 193-198 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Against the background of the high-quality development of China’s foreign investment, this book takes Indonesia as the country-specific research object and analyzes the evolution of China’s direct investment in Indonesia. It summarizes the structural characteristics of the investment, empirically tests the investment effect and its mechanism, measures the multiple investment distances between the two countries, clarifies the mechanism of the “liability of foreignness” risk faced by Chinese enterprises, and defines the core elements and implementation path of localized investment model innovation. This chapter discusses the main research conclusions of this book and future research directions.
