Abstract: Abstract Despite the seemingly incredible triumphs of modern science and technology for advancing our lives and societies, the current COVID-19 pandemic has exploded into our lives because of the emergence of a novel coronavirus. The virus and its impact were first reported in China in scenes that seemed beyond belief, before the scenario then expanded across the globe. We were suddenly thrown into a shattered world in which nothing seemed certain and drastic changes were endured on a daily basis. We have just experienced constructive destructionConstructive destruction! It is now time to learn from our failures. In doing so, it is necessary for us firstly to realize how we are deeply influenced by the traditional way of thinking that leads to incomplete perceptions; secondly, how we could get rid of such incomplete perceptions to approach ultimate reality; and finally, how we could make our world and ourselves persistent and resilient, together with keeping the dynamic balance between self-interest (or selfishness) and integration (or altruism) of human beings. Persistence, resilience, self-interest, and integration, and even incomplete perceptions are the common characteristics of all living things such as individual cells, species, and huge ecosystems. Now is the best time to act the part of destructive constructionDestructive construction for inventing the futures. This chapter consists of three parts: Part I (A Grand Unified Theory), Part II (A Mandala Nursing Theory and Practice), and Part III (An Organization Theory and Practice), and discusses the theory and practice of creative complex systems toward a new synthesis beyond ever-evolving complexity.
