A chapter in Corporate Social Responsibility in Poland, 2019, pp 19-29 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The aim of this paper is to classify and organize descriptions of activities carried out by public administration in the area of CSR and to find an answer to the question: what was the role of CSR advisory boards in implementing CSR standards in Poland? The analysis of instruments used in the process of developing CSR in Poland will include result descriptions of projects carried out through EU funds under the 2007–2013 financial perspective and projects implemented by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development in the years 2012–2016. Specifying indicators of CSR’s impact on the Polish socio-economic situation, in the course of the last 20 years, I propose a thesis that the role of public administration is to inform, disseminate standards and monitor the implementation of the responsible approach in business.
