Abstract: Abstract Social impact assessment is increasingly attracting the attention of scholars and businesses due to its sustainability and environmental outlook which has grown progressively. Over the years, several aspects have been studied by scholars offering different outlooks of the concept. This chapter aims to provide an understanding of the state of art of social impact assessment through a systematic literature review; add an integrated framework helpful to shed new light on the relevant dimensions of SIA and generate insights for new research streams.
