Abstract The steadily rising global demand for luxury gems and the simultaneously growing attention of public opinion towards sustainabilitySustainability, sustainable business strategy, sustainable economy, sustainable growth and corporate social responsibility (CSR)Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) issues have been exerting an impact on the mining industryIndustry and have become a challenge for the diamondDiamond supply chainSupply chain ’s managementManagement .
