Abstract: Abstract CSR Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) is important not just because it helps businesses to help society Societies and communitiesCommunities but because it can help firms to build trust and identify with the needs of communitiesCommunities. Establishing and keeping trust with customers, communitiesCommunities and regulators isn’t simple and can be easily damaged or lost. To be successful in the long-term, firms need to think beyond what’s affecting them today to what’s going to happen tomorrow. This isn’t just about addressing changes to technology or the needs of customers, but also taking into account alterations in social, environmental and governanceGovernance issues A couple of studies in the past revealed that reputation and competitive advantage are the results of increased customer satisfaction after engaging in CSR Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) . This study adds to knowledge Knowledges by suggesting that Corporate strategyCorporate strategies, Human resource strategyHuman resource strategy, Research and developmentResearch and Development (R&D) strategy Strategies and Product strategy Strategies can affect CSR Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) and hence the business sustainabilityBusiness sustainability of any given firm. The study proposes a conceptual model that can be tested empirically to confirm this assertion or otherwise.
